On February 13, 2025, ICE Denver officers arrested Conce Noel Argueta-Cabrera, a Salvadoran national who has been unlawfully residing in the United States for more than three decades. Argueta-Cabrera was apprehended following a targeted enforcement action based on his extensive criminal history, which includes multiple offenses involving public safety and vulnerable individuals.

Argueta-Cabrera has a prior conviction for contributing to the delinquency of a minor, in addition to two separate DUI offenses. Most notably, he has been convicted of sexual assault on a minor, a serious offense that triggered immediate immigration enforcement action. Despite his long-term presence in the country, he never obtained legal status, making him subject to removal under federal immigration law.

ICE officers processed Argueta-Cabrera and placed him into immigration proceedings. Given the gravity of his criminal conduct, including crimes against a minor, ICE is holding him in detention without bond as his case moves forward. He will remain in ICE custody pending the outcome of his immigration hearing before a judge.
