Josan Cristian Delgado-Rodriguez/Mexico/Alien Smuggling

On February 4, 2025, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers in Arizona apprehended Josan Cristian Delgado-Rodriguez, a Mexican national, following his release from local custody. Delgado-Rodriguez had previously been arrested by the Wheeler County Sheriff’s Office in Texas and charged with smuggling of persons, a felony offense.

Additionally, he had a prior conviction for driving under the influence (DUI). After serving his sentence, ICE officers took him into custody to initiate removal proceedings. He is currently being held at an ICE detention facility pending the outcome of his immigration case.

In a similar case, on March 15, 2025, ICE officers in Arizona arrested Miguel Angel Ramirez-Gonzalez, a 34-year-old Mexican national, following his release from local custody. Ramirez-Gonzalez had been previously convicted of human smuggling and had a prior DUI conviction.

After serving his sentence, ICE officers took him into custody to initiate removal proceedings. He is currently being held at an ICE detention facility pending the outcome of his immigration case.
