Jose Holguin/Mexico/Attempted Murder

Jose Holguin, a citizen of Mexico and illegal alien, was arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) New Orleans after being identified as a significant public safety threat due to his violent criminal history. Holguin has two major felony convictions: one for discharging a firearm into a dwelling and another for committing a drive-by shooting. A drive-by shooting is widely recognized as an act of attempted murder, given its deliberate and reckless intent to harm or kill individuals without warning.

Holguin’s actions showed clear disregard for human life and public safety. Discharging a firearm into a home poses an extreme risk to anyone inside, and participating in a drive-by attack further demonstrates a calculated willingness to endanger innocent people.
