Los Angeles-based Enforcement and Removal Operations officers arrested 43-year-old Mexican national Juan Manuel Lopez-Calderon on November 30 as part of targeted immigration enforcement in Southern California.

Authorities identified Lopez-Calderon as a criminal alien with multiple serious convictions on his record.

Public records indicate that Lopez-Calderon has prior convictions for vehicle theft, kidnapping, and inflicting corporal injury on a spouse, combining property crime, violent abduction, and domestic violence in a single criminal history.

These offenses place him among the highest-priority noncitizen offenders for immigration enforcement.

Lopez-Calderon is currently being held in ICE custody pending removal proceedings, during which officials will seek his deportation from the United States based on both his unlawful status and his violent criminal record.
