Juan Salvador Covarrubias Mora/Mexico/Fraud

Officers with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Seattle removed Juan Salvador Covarrubias Mora, a Mexican national, to his home country on December 9. Covarrubias Mora had been identified as a foreign fugitive with an active arrest warrant for fraud in Mexico. His removal aligns with the agency’s mission to ensure the United States does not serve as a safe haven for individuals evading justice abroad.

Officials emphasized that cooperation with international law enforcement partners is essential for locating and repatriating suspects wanted for serious financial crimes.

Covarrubias Mora was turned over to Mexican authorities upon his arrival in his home country. The agency continues to prioritize the arrest and removal of noncitizens who have outstanding warrants in other nations, ensuring they answer for their alleged crimes in the appropriate jurisdiction.
