Rohan Campbell/Jamaica/Aggravated Battery, Cocaine Possession, Assault, Illegal Re-entry

ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) New Orleans arrested Rohan Campbell, a 41-year-old citizen of Jamaica, on August 5, 2025. Campbell is an illegal alien with a significant criminal history in the United States and had previously been deported before unlawfully reentering the country.

His criminal record includes two convictions for aggravated battery, along with prior convictions for assault and drug possession involving both cocaine and marijuana. He also has a federal conviction for illegal re-entry after removal. Campbell had been arrested by local law enforcement in multiple jurisdictions over the past several years, and ICE officers were notified of his custody status through biometric and database alerts.

Following his most recent release from local custody, Campbell was taken into ICE detention and placed into removal proceedings. Due to his prior removals and criminal convictions, ICE has issued a reinstatement of his original deportation order. Campbell will remain in ICE custody without bond as his removal is finalized.

ICE officials confirmed that Campbell’s multiple violent and drug-related offenses made him a priority for enforcement action. He will be deported once travel arrangements are completed and legal procedures are fulfilled.
