U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement announced the arrests of additional criminal illegal aliens across the country, including individuals convicted of aggravated sexual assault of a child, lewd acts with a minor, cocaine trafficking, and aggravated robbery.
According to the Department of Homeland Security, the arrests are part of ongoing enforcement operations targeting individuals identified as public safety threats. Federal officials said those taken into custody include offenders convicted of violent crimes, child sexual offenses and narcotics trafficking.
Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis said Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers continue nationwide operations focused on removing individuals with serious criminal histories from American communities.
“Each day, the NICE men and women of ICE risk their lives to remove criminal illegal aliens from American neighborhoods,” Bis said. “Yesterday, ICE arrested multiple pedophiles, violent assailants, and robbers. Under President Trump and Secretary Mullin, ICE will NOT allow criminals to terrorize American citizens.”
In a separate statement, Bis said Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers continue enforcement actions targeting violent offenders and narcotics traffickers.
“While sanctuary politicians are busy protecting criminal illegal aliens, the NICE men and women of ICE are risking their lives to go after heinous criminals including murderers, pedophiles, violent assailants, and other public safety threats,” Bis said. “By taking these criminal illegal aliens off our streets, ICE is putting the safety of Americans first. Under President Trump and Secretary Mullin, criminals are not welcome in the United States.”
